Make It Public
This article explains how to save and publish your widget configurations in the Widget Customization Editor. Saving preserves your changes, while publishing makes your widget live and accessible to users. This guide covers the process of saving, adding notes, and publishing your widget, as well as managing versions.
Saving Your Configuration
To save your widget configuration:
- Navigate to the Toolbar at the top of the editor.
- Click the Save button.
- In the modal that appears, add a note to describe the changes made in this version. Notes are helpful for tracking updates and collaborating with team members.
- Confirm the save action.
Saved versions are automatically labeled sequentially (e.g., 1, 2, 3). These versions are stored and can be accessed later through Version History.
Publishing Your Configuration
To make your widget live and accessible to users:
- Ensure your configuration is saved; otherwise, it will be saved automatically.
- Navigate to the Toolbar and click the Publish button.
- Confirm the publish action.
Publishing applies the current configuration to the live widget. Ensure all changes are tested and finalized before publishing.
